Welcome to Albital Canon shpk
Since 1999 we have been bringing original technology to businesses, institutions and families in Albania.
We are a technology distributor and retailer with three shops – two in Durrës and one in Tirana: security cameras, printers and toners, computers, networking and accessories – with a 1-year warranty and professional advice.
Some of our milestones over the years
- 1999
Foundation
Founded by three Albanian partners with the vision and the will to offer products and services in information technology, mainly to institutional clients as well as private companies across the Republic of Albania.
- 2007
CCTV systems
With 20 years of experience in the IT equipment market and almost 10 years in CCTV and IP surveillance and security systems, the company has always focused on raising the quality of its service and on complex, functional solutions for its clients.
- 2014
Monitoring System Penitenciary
Albital Canon becomes a leader in the security and monitoring sector and successfully completes contracts with major institutions such as the Ministry of Justice (General Directorate of Prisons), supplying IT equipment and the CCTV system in a joint venture with RealCom (40% of the contract).
- 2015
Monitoring System Penitenciary
As a subcontractor of the Italian company Infoteam srl for the technical support of installing tracking devices, Albital Canon broadened its knowledge and skills, providing a quality service to the Ministry of Justice (Probation Service).
- 2016
Support DataCenter
Upgrade and maintenance of the IT systems of the OSHEE sh.a. data centre, successfully delivered in a consortium with S&T Albania shpk and Infoteam srl.
- 2017
Emergency Service
Supply and installation of computer and electronic equipment and licences for the integrated system of the new national emergency service; technical support for installing the IT equipment and testing the physical network with CISCO devices.
- 2017
Queue Management System & CCTV
A system for audio-video monitoring, automatic queue management and performance reporting in the OSHEE customer care centres – at 84 locations across Albania, delivered in less than 45 days.
- 2018
Videowall DAHUA
A video wall of 40 Dahua 55-inch monitors with Samsung panels, together with our partner RealCom sh.p.k., in the new OSHEE building – the first project of this size in the Balkans.
- 2019
Queue Management System
A queue management system at 35 OSHEE customer care locations, with real-time statistics, operator performance measurement and better distribution of work.
- 2020
Digital Library
Building the hardware infrastructure and the Digital Library system at the University of Vlora for managing and digitising books.
- 2020
Parliament of Albania (VDI)
Building the virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) at the Parliament of Albania, on FUJITSU and VMWARE technology, for 50 users.
